Tiles and grout joints are not naturally waterproof and require a proper waterproofing system to prevent moisture issues and mold growth. Waterproofing for showers.

A worry-free shower installation starts with proper waterproofing to protect moisture-sensitive areas behind the tile. Schluter®-KERDI and KERDI-DS are flexible, sheet-applied waterproofing membranes designed for direct tile application. Complemented by seamless corners, waterproofing strips, and pipe seals, the KERDI system provides complete protection against mold and mildew damage in showers and bathtub surrounds.

Drains for showers.

Schluter® Systems provides shower drain solutions with a large contact area, ensuring a secure bond to the waterproofing membrane. This strong connection allows for effective water drainage while preventing leaks and blocking gases from the waste system from entering the building.

KBRS manufactures custom shower bases and mortar replacement slopes in the U.S. using high-quality materials, including expanded polystyrene (EPS)—a lightweight, moisture-resistant material also used in surfboards. By combining a high-density EPS core with epoxy and glass fibers, KBRS creates exceptionally durable and reliable shower bases.
